Welcome to Grace Christian Church! We’re a community of people committed to the life-changing message about Jesus and his love for our broken and hurting world. It’s a message of hope that we know we need, because that brokenness is present in our own lives. We haven’t got it all together. And since our world is broken and hurting, we want others to know the joy of this message. We believe that when you really encounter Jesus, your life will never be the same again.

We’re located in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs, where Melbourne meets the Mornington Peninsula. We’d love to have you join us at 10.00am on Sundays for our services. These are times when our church family meets together, not just for an event, but as an expression of our relationship with God and each other. So, we sing, and we pray, and we hear what God has to say to us in his word, the Bible, through which we’re encouraged and challenged.

Growth Groups

We encourage everyone to be connecting with others in small groups, building community, personally and practically supporting each other, and growing as we engage with what God has to say to us in the Bible.

Youth Group

Our youth meet weekly on Friday Nights to play games and study the Bible together. Youth group is for high-school aged students and is led by young adults who understand the struggles faced by our youth.

GEMS & Cadets engages kids in physical activity, practical life skills, and getting to know God through the Bible. Cadets is for boys, and GEMS is for girls – it stands for “Girls Everywhere Meeting their Saviour.”

Our Pastor

Steve Coleman, Pastor

Steve has served as pastor at Grace Christian Church since February 2021. He’s got a passion to see people realise that there are compelling reasons to follow Jesus and to make Jesus the most important, defining thing in life.

Prior to serving as a pastor, Steve studied engineering in Canberra and worked for almost a decade in electrical engineering and IT. He then studied at the Reformed Theological College in Victoria before serving for six years as pastor in the outer western suburbs of Sydney.

Steve and his wife, Kristy, have five school- and university-aged children.
